Abstract

This systematic review investigates the role of interactive multimedia in enhancing the writing skills of students learning English. The study aims to examine how interactive multimedia can effectively support the language learning process. Drawing on previous research, the review highlights several advantages of interactive multimedia, including enabling students to learn at their own pace and assisting teachers in managing classrooms more effectively. Additionally, it fosters greater student engagement, enhances self-monitoring capabilities, and supports the evaluation of learning progress.Interactive multimedia has been shown to boost vocabulary retention and motivate students to take an active role in their learning journey, ultimately leading to better language acquisition outcomes. Another key benefit is its ability to cater to diverse learning styles, thereby increasing student motivation and participation. The review also underscores the value of collaborative learning through group projects facilitated by multimedia-based platforms. The research methodology follows the PRISMA 2020 framework, encompassing steps such as identification, screening, eligibility, and the inclusion of articles from electronic journal databases. The findings of this review indicate that integrating artificial intelligence into interactive multimedia can significantly enhance students' writing skills. Numerous studies confirm its effectiveness across various educational levels. This research aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the potential of interactive multimedia in improving English language skills and to inspire innovative teaching practices in the classroom
