Abstract

The development of digital technology has provided new opportunities in education, including efforts to strengthen moral and character education. This study aims to analyze the application of technology-based learning in shaping students moral values and character in the digital era. The research method used is a library study with a descriptive qualitative approach through a review of various literature, scientific articels, and previous research results related to the integration technology in character education. The results show that the use of technology, such as online learning platfroms, interactive media, and value-based applications, can increase students engagement, expand access to learning resources, and provide contextual learning experiences. However, the use of technology also present challenges, such as the potential for value degradation, consumptive behavior, and low social control. Therefore, the role of educators is crucial in designing learning strategies that not only emphasize cognitive aspects but also internalize moral values and character through technology. In conclusion, technology-based learning can be an effective means for moral and character education if balanced with supervision, mentoring and reinforcement of local and universal values.
